Cameron Gallagher

Cameron Gallagher is a writer, director, and cinematographer in the horror genre. Based in New York, he began making movies at the age of five and started pursuing filmmaking professionally during high school.
He has directed multiple acclaimed short films, including two for Crypt TV—The Alive and The Forgotten—which together have garnered over one million views online. In 2021, his short The Rickety Man was an official selection at the Screamfest Horror Film Festival, premiering at the TCL Chinese Theatre in Los Angeles. His subsequent work includes It Visits Me, selected as a "Best of the Month" title on Shortverse, and Copy (2024), which surpassed 200,000 views.
Gallagher's feature directorial debut, It Visits Me, was recently announced with exclusive trade coverage in Deadline, Bloody Disgusting, and Dread Central, and is currently in post-production. Beyond directing, he serves as the Director of Photography on the 2027 Untitled Blair Witch film for Lionsgate, along with Blumhouse, Atomic Monster, and Divide & Conquer producing. Concurrently, Gallagher has several projects in development at the moment, including a slate of original feature screenplays.
